As the father of two teenage boys, Steve is concerned about gun violence and keeping our families and children safe. He supports tougher background checks to keep weapons out of the hands of criminals and those with mental illness. Steve supports efforts to close the gun show loophole, crack down on shadow gun purchases and reinstatement of the assault weapons ban. Steve believes that this can be accomplished while protecting the Second Amendment rights of responsible gun owners.
