Rep. Raúl Labrador, R-Idaho, issued the following statement after the death of former First Lady Nancy Reagan:

"I'm saddened by the passing of Nancy Reagan, one of the great figures of the 20th century. She was President Reagan's partner, guiding force and most important source of strength. She will be remembered for her elegance and dignity, even through the most trying times. Becca and I extend our prayers and condolences to the family and the millions of Americans who deeply feel her loss."
