Students in five rural Arkansas schools have additional computers to use thanks to U.S. Senator John Boozman's (R-AR) participation in a program that channels surplus computers into classrooms across the country.
The U.S. Senate's Computers for Schools program helps public schools stay connected in the digital age by donating computers no longer used in the Senate for use in their classrooms.
"This is a great opportunity to put surplus equipment to good use and help Arkansas students develop their computer skills and connect them to technology at the same time. Providing Arkansas schools with the resources students rely on to advance their education and improve their success in a global economy is important to preparing our students for the future," Boozman said.
