Rogers: NDAA Passes House Again

Statement

Date: Nov. 5, 2015
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Mike Rogers made the following statement after the House of Representatives passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) again today after the original NDAA was vetoed by President Obama for not including funding for domestic programs.

"Although this bill was not perfect, I was pleased it passed the House with my strong support after President Obama chose to play political games by vetoing the original NDAA. It is imperative our military have assurance of funding, and I hope this bill will move quickly through the Senate and President Obama will sign it into law."
