Governor Hassan Announces New Hampshire Joins Complete College America Alliance of States

Building on her efforts to make higher education more affordable and accessible for all Granite Staters, Governor Maggie Hassan announced today a strategic partnership with Complete College America to strengthen ongoing work to increase graduation rates and close attainment gaps.

"Ensuring greater access to higher education for all of our people is critical to expanding middle class opportunity and building an even stronger workforce pipeline that will help our businesses grow and thrive," Governor Hassan said. "We froze tuition at our university system and lowered it at our community colleges, important progress to hold down the cost of higher education, while working to align programs with the needs of innovative businesses and to prepare our K-12 students for success. Joining the Complete College America Alliance of States will help build on those efforts to make higher education attainable for all Granite Staters."
