In order to keep the state's digital data secure and protect private information, Governor Maggie Hassan today outlined efforts to strengthen cyber security in state government.
"In an increasingly technological world, our digital data is also increasingly at risk, which poses a threat to our economy, our privacy and our security," Governor Hassan said. "Because technology is an essential component of the 21st century innovation economy, we must be vigilant in our efforts to strengthen cyber security and keep our data secure. Every month, the state repels millions of cyber-attacks on our network and blocks millions of potentially malicious emails as part of our efforts to protect data, and we continue to take additional steps to strengthen cyber security."
