Issue Position

During the 2015 legislative session, I was honored to work with Governor Hutchinson to help provide tax relief to those in Arkansas who need it the most. But taxes in Arkansas are too high. We need to cut taxes on families and small businesses to make our state a better place to live, work, and do business.

Cutting taxes is the single most effective way to create more jobs for Arkansans. Businesses look for low tax states such as Tennessee and Texas when considering relocation. By reducing taxes we create an incentive for businesses to move to our state and those businesses already in Arkansas to expand their operations. New and expanding businesses mean more job opportunities for Arkansans. I'll continue to work with other pro-business leaders to cut taxes on families and small businesses.
