During the August work period, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) was honored by the AFL-CIO with a perfect voting scorecard on 10 key votes that supported working Americans in 2014.

His 100 percent report card now gives Johnson a 99 percent lifetime voting record -- the highest in the Georgia delegation. Civil rights legend Rep. John Lewis has a 98 percent lifetime rating and Rep. David Scott -- 95 percent. Johnson cast votes in favor of paycheck fairness, extending unemployment benefits, allowing students to refinance college loans and bringing jobs back home to American workers.

"When I vote, my first priority is to help hard-working families -- who are essential to the health of our economy and the strength of our democracy," said Rep. Johnson. "Congress must focus on creating more good-paying jobs, growing Americans' paychecks, strengthening Social Security and Medicare, and improving workplace safety."
