As the son of a World War II veteran, ensuring proper care of veterans has always been a top priority of mine. After watching my father struggle with the complex and inconvenient Veterans Affairs system, I felt a personal responsibility to improve veterans' access to care in East Tennessee and throughout the nation. It is our duty to honor and protect these brave men and women who defended our country.
