PROCLAMATION
YOUTH LEADERSHIP DAYS
JUNE 3-5, 2005

WHEREAS, our young people are our most valuable resource, and among them will emerge our future business, community and state leaders; and
WHEREAS, providing our youth with a well-founded understanding of leadership, through education and practical experience, is integral to creating North Dakota's next generation of leaders; and
WHEREAS, the North Dakota Leadership Seminar is a valuable forum for high school sophomores from across the state to identify and develop leadership skills and opportunities; and
WHEREAS, all schools, government agencies, businesses and organizations are encouraged to recognize and foster leadership qualities in North Dakota's youth, providing them with a strong foundation for the future; and
NOW, THEREFORE, as Governor of the State of North Dakota, I do hereby proclaim June 3-5, 2005, YOUTH LEADERSHIP DAYS in the state of North Dakota.
