Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet issued the following statement on the verdict in the Aurora theater shooting today:

"Nothing will bring back the sons, daughters, and family members who were lost in this horrific murder. But we hope the jury's verdict brings some measure of solace to those who loved them and continue to morn their loss."
