(1) the oversight of businesses, industries, general trades, and
occupations regulated by this state;
(2) the regulation of greyhound and horse racing and other gaming
industries;
(3) regulation of the sale of intoxicating beverages and local option
control;
(4) the Alcoholic Beverage Code; and
(5) the following state agencies: the Texas Department of Licensing
and Regulation, the State Office of Administrative Hearings, the Texas Board
of Architectural Examiners, the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy, the
Texas Real Estate Commission, the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners,
the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, the Real Estate Center at Texas
A&M University, the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying, the Texas
Racing Commission, the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board, the
Texas Lottery Commission, and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
