"Nurses for America (NFA) is a grassroots organization of nurses that educates nurses, healthcare professionals, and policymakers about issues affecting the health and well-being of patients, families, communities, and the public. Nurses for America engages nurses in helping to elect candidates who share nursing values, will refute disinformation, and will act to support public policy including: Providing comprehensive, quality, accessible and affordable healthcare for all residents of our country; Protecting Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act; Restoring, protecting, and expanding reproductive health care; Advancing efforts to reduce pharmaceutical costs; Supporting evidence-based environmental health and safety; Expanding gun violence protection; Maintaining and enhancing international health programs; Protecting Social Security, veterans' healthcare, and other economic security programs; Advocating for voting rights, human rights, and equality."
