| North Carolina has a budget problem. A top priority will be to oppose the diversion of highway trust fund, disaster fund, and municipal reimbursement monies into the general fund. Insurance is too high. I support meaningful tort reform including malpractice reform to cap excessive pain and suffering awards. North Carolina taxes are too high. I support the lowering of corporate taxes to make NC more attractive to businesses looking to relocate to NC. |
