Decisions about reproductive healthcare should be made by a woman and her doctor. Government should not interfere with access to safe, legal abortion and contraception. I support codifying NH?s laws to protect the right to abortion services. New Hampshire has an affordable housing crisis. Our young families cannot afford to live and raise their families here. We need to incentivize affordable housing projects and the infrastructure to support them. An option communities could consider are accessory dwelling units. An accessory dwelling unit (ADU) is a second small dwelling on the same grounds, or attached to, a regular single-family house, and may include an apartment over the garage, a tiny house on a foundation in the backyard, or a basement apartment. These are not mobile homes; the unit must include a foundation. These units can be mutually beneficial to young families seeking homeownership and older folks who wish to downside their living accommodations.
