| Pro-choice | a) Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation? | ||
| Yes | b) Do you support legalizing abortion when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape? | ||
| No | c) Do you support the prohibition of public funds (e.g. Medicaid) for organizations that perform abortions? | ||
| I fully support women's right to choose. | |||
| No | a) In order to balance the budget, do you support limiting state government spending on social programs (e.g. SNAP, TANF)? | ||
| No | b) Do you support a decrease in income taxes in order to promote economic growth? | ||
| Yes | c) Do you support a wealth tax in order to pay for public programs in your state? | ||
| People and all businesses should pay their fair share of taxes. I do not currently support an income or a general sales tax in NH but do support the historic dividends and interest tax. Sales taxes for Rooms and Meals and similar types of targeted taxes I do support. There is a need to increase state support for public education in order to reduce local property taxes. NH state government, I understand, has the lowest rate of financial support for public schools than any other state in the country. I do not support state taxes being used for supporting private and religious shools and home schooling. | |||

| Yes | e) Do you support allowing schools to hire part-time teachers without requiring that they be certified by the State Board of Education? | ||
| I support hiring part-time teachers without requiring that they be certified if their prior education and/or experience demostrates that they have the knowledge and skills needed to teach at the content and grade level that they wish to teach. These individuals should also have a path to receiving certification while they are teaching that includes annual assessments of their work. | |||
| Yes | a) Do you support state funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)? | ||
| No | b) Do you support state governments allowing permits for drilling on public lands? | ||
| Yes | c) Do you support increasing state funding for clean drinking water initiatives? | ||
| We need to practice leadership in confronting the climate crisis and take timely actions to move our state off its dependence on oil and gas. Supporting higher levels of net-metering that support the growth of solar energy from homes and businesses is a key step in this transition to renewable energy. Clean drinking water is critical for the health, vitality, and future sustainable economy of New Hampshire. | |||

| Yes | b) Do you support the use of an independent or bipartisan commission for redistricting? | ||
| No | c) Do you support requiring a government-issued photo identification in order to vote at the polls? | ||
| Yes | d) Do you support automatic voter registration? | ||
| Yes | e) Do you support the implementation of ranked choice voting in New Hampshire? | ||
| The foundation of our democracy is built upon making it easy for all citizens to vote and not building barriers that adversely impact youth, elderly, or the those with limited resources. We need to allow for early voting in NH without limiting this to specific, limited, justifications such as being our of town. Voting fraud is nearly non-exisitent in NH as show by every study and is used create barrier to voting for many citizens. | |||
| Yes | a) Do you generally support gun-control legislation (e.g. red flag laws, closing the boyfriend loophole)? | ||
| Yes | b) Should background checks be required on gun sales between private citizens at gun shows? | ||
| No | c) Do you support the right to concealed carry in New Hampshire? | ||
| I support the banning of all assault weapons in NH and reasonable regulation on all guns and their use. | |||
| Yes | a) Should the state government increase funding for treatment facilities to combat opioid abuse? | ||
| Yes | b) Do you support a government-run (e.g. single-payer) healthcare program such as Medicare-for-All? | ||
| Yes | c) Should an individual have the right to choose to die (e.g. those with a terminal illness) through euthanasia? | ||

| Yes | e) Do you support expanding paid family AND/OR medical leave benefits (e.g. maternity leave)? | ||
| Yes | f) Should the government be able to regulate the cost of prescription drugs? | ||
| Mandating vaccinations for schools is critical if we do not one to allow historic diseased such a polio, small pox, etc. to return to our society. Medicare-for-all, if phased in over a period of time, I believe would provide the best health care at the lowest overall cost. Giving the government the right to negotiate drug pricies is critical to support the health care of NH residents. | |||
| Yes | a) Do you support inclusion of sexual orientation in New Hampshire's anti-discrimination laws? | ||
| Yes | b) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in New Hampshire's anti-discrimination laws? | ||
| Yes | c) Do you support greater efforts by New Hampshire's state government in closing gender, racial, and other wage gaps? | ||
| 1. We need to develop and implement a state-wdie climate change action plan and is in partnership with local government and the private sector. Funding should be linked to carbon emissions and other types of greenhouse gasses. 2. We need to formalize the right of women's control over thieir own bodies and the right to choose though a constituional amendment. 3. We need to support public education through enhancing the financial support by state government for local public educational costs per the recent court decisions. We need to stop providing public monies for private, religious schools, or home schooling. 4. We need to revise our NH state solid waste policy so that it encourages more recycling and composting, reduces ground water contaminations through the lining of all facilities, manages landfills under the direct control of state government (that could be operated by the private sector), and it reduces toxic household hazardous waste. This shouod be funded by those who generate waste, not property taxes. |
