In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, I will work closely with medical professionals and small businesses to revive our local economy and keep families safe. While radical Republicans at the Statehouse have attacked Dr. Amy Acton and Governor DeWine for the preventive measures they took to contain COVID-19, I firmly believe that it is our responsibility as Americans to keep one another safe and healthy. Thats why Ill fight for affordable and accessible healthcare for every family and an investment in our States public health system.
My top legislative priority is the expansion of mental health services for minors in Ohio. As a certified mental health professional, I saw first-hand the devastating impact that mental illness can have on a child, their family, and their communities. Its our responsibility to ensure these children have access to mental health care so that they can grow, learn, and achieve their greatest potential. With the elimination of corporate tax loopholes and other reform measures, we can provide this care to every Ohio child in need.
