| Aggressive action on climate change. A new approach to addressing health and equity. And increased local control for local governments. The events of this year have also made it clear that we need state level police reform and to make significant efforts toward addressing systemic racism. | |||
| My personal top legislative priority is addressing climate change. We need to put North Carolina on the path to 100% renewable energy and we can do that through policy, incentives, and subsidies. We need to ensure that this transition does not fall heavily on low and moderate income people, and we can pay for that through the rate structure. |
