I am concerned that we're spending TOO much on administrative costs for all of these issues, for which there's too little accountability (reducing costs here is mandatory), and too many federal "data-inputs" are being required. The level of services are diminishing. Existing state funds should be re-routed into the actual service.
Before we discuss increasing taxes, we must first reduce our government's administrative costs. Once we can demonstrate to Montana's citizens that we have an accountable government, our citizenry may feel a bit more amenable to increasing taxes WHERE NEEDED!
