| I will refile legislation to allow voters to register to vote on election day as many other states have already successfully done. This would increase voter paricipation between 3% and 11% in any given election based on the experience other states have observed. Too often people move and negect to register in their new community before election day. Our Secretary of the Commonwealth, William Francis Galvin, the most experienced elected election official in the United States, supports same day voter registration. Medicare for All a/k/a Single Payer Health Care would cost no more than we currently pay for health care while actually providing better care for all. I will continue to co-sponsor legislation to accomplish this. While we have a Clean Water Act and A Clean Air Act we do not have a Clean Earth Act at the state or federal level. I plan to file legislation to accomplish this in the Commonwealth. |
