"Reducing state government regulations" is tricky. In some cases our regulations are designed as barriers to entry, keeping upstart competitors out and protecting market advantages for large or existing players. Those regulations should be reconsidered. But "deregulation" as code for allowing corporations to abuse consumers and the environment for higher profits is something I strenuously oppose.
Yes a) Do you support adopting federal education standards in Illinois?
No b) Do you support state funding for charter schools?
Yes c) Should immigrants unlawfully present in the United States who graduate from Illinois high schools be eligible for in-state tuition at public universities?

"Adopting federal education standards" would depend very heavily on what those standards are. The federal government devolved many of those decisions to states in ESSA. If the feds were to adopt new standards, we might or might not want to adopt them.

Yes b) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in Illinois's anti-discrimination laws?

A few of my top priorities: A living wage and benefits for everyone. Tax brackets so rich people pay what they owe and the rest of us pay less. Affordable health care and prescriptions for everyone. Free access to great schools, from pre-K to college. And a major infrastructure investment to put Illinoisans back to work and fix our roads and bridges and schools.
