Reason for Seeking Public Office:
California is at a critical juncture - jobs, education, healthcare, and government accountability need reform. I'm a collaborative problem solver and a compassionate fiscal conservative. California needs to spend tax dollars on programs that provide each of us with the opportunity to succeed, not maintain the failing status quo. I'll work to increase jobs through smart tax credits for new businesses, job retraining programs for those most hurt by the economic recession and smart partnerships. Elected officials that are convicted of crimes should be expelled without future benefits or pay.
