Reason for Seeking Public Office:
I want to help the people of South Dakota by providing good laws, and setting good public policy. I am particularly interested in obtaining better funding for education and in trying to reduce health care costs through preventive programs and education. I feel my job is to listen to the people in my district, and to help whoever I can with real life issues. I have found I can make a difference in peoples' lives, and that is what makes life really worthwhile.
