My mother. Mom raised eight children alone. After leaving our father who was abusive. Mom, with the help of my grandmother raised us on a nurses salary. She NEVER took welfare. We were poor, We lived in the ghetto. She would walk to work and put in a 10 to 12 hr shift and walk home. She inspired us to work hard and strive to be more. She raised us in the Church and strong family values. She was firm, but fair. and she made us accountable for our actions. My mom died of cancer in 2016, I do this in honor of her. she was MY hero
