Priority Issues:
The biggest issues facing our area is our K-12 funding, drug abuse, and the amount of people living in poverty, needing cash assistance to barely get by. I think that making sure our schools and drug abuse programs are funded fairly and not overlooked or forgotten about is crucial. However, I think the biggest issue that I will champion is jobs, jobs, jobs!!! Not just any jobs. Good paying jobs providing healthcare for employees. We are blessed to have a wide range of people in this district. Some people that are meant for college, and some that are not. We need to have good paying jobs for the entire demographic. I want to see kids that are not college educated be able to find a good job that they can provide for themselves and their families. I would also like to see kids that go to college and get their degree stay right here upon graduating. We have too many great people going to school within our district that leave town immediately upon graduation. Let's keep great people in our great area!!!
