Priority Issues:
Upgrading the athletic fields is important, but the safety issues of the South Main Street Bridge, Shaw School, streets, Police and Fire Department facilities, and heating system for the Town Hall should be addressed first. I would find the money to replace the South Main Street Bridge, support the purchase of land for new Police and Fire Department facilities, and support the repair of our buildings' safety concerns. Millbury is counting on the State to give them money for roads and bridges, etc. The State is counting on the Federal Government. The Federal Government is over $17 trillion in debt, has produced nothing to show for it, and will be making cuts. We can't pay that $17 trillion back.
We need to pass "Glass-Steagall" to eliminate most of that debt and set up a Hamiltonian Credit System for the money to build needed projects for the country and Millbury.
Reason for Seeking Public Office:
The 37 percent increase in our electric rates was the "hyperinflation" that I had warned about if we didn't pass "Glass-Steagall".
I had to do something to help us survive financially. I helped residents in Millbury, and local area, "Petition" their Selectmen to negotiate a lower electric rate for its townspeople. I research for truth, and stand up for what's right.
