I'm very excited to announce my campaign as a Democratic candidate for the Arizona State Senate, in Legislative District Three (LD3).

I am running for office because the decisions being made by the Tea Party Republicans are crippling our state. We need a strong leader who will go up to Phoenix and boldly advocate for the people of Tucson and Southern Arizona.

As LD3 Senator, I will reject the Tea Party's reckless and irresponsible agenda, and I will get back to what is important for the people of Arizona. I will work to build a sustainable Arizona economy, I will protect and strengthen public education, I will protect our environment and push for solar energy, I will reject dangerous gun legislation, I will fight for Arizona's working families, I will defend women's rights and gender equality, and I will continue to defend the human rights of all Arizonans.
