Reason for Seeking Public Office:

Well that is simple. They are to represent you and what is important to you.

Actually it is more than that. They represent you yes but, also work to build a greater future for our children.

It seems as late that many of those we elected have forgotten their promises.

Our nation and Missouri was formed with the best of intentions. The idea that everyone could be afforded the same opportunities, if they worked and were willing to do what was needed to be done to achieve their goals.

As time moves on it has gotten harder and harder to reach those goals. It seems as though what was once a reality has become things dreams are made of. The government has seen fit to grow, add restrictions, and created a co-dependence.

They do this almost oblivious to what they are doing to the very people who put them in office. Special interest groups, political correctness, and the need to protect us from ourselves has created a weakened national state.
