Reason for Seeking Public Office:

I am running because I can't just sit back and watch as my representation becomes less and less. Any time I contact my representatives with my concerns, I feel I am never represented adequately. This is unacceptable to me.

Another major concern to me is I have seen this district become the scapegoat of the media. We hear about all the crime statistics and how St. Louis is always one of the top contenders for most dangerous city.We have to change this. We need to come together as a community and make this district a better place to raise a family. Where your children and mine can go outside to play and feel safe. Where no one has to worry if something bad may happen. I would like to do everything that I can to make this district safer for all of our citizens. This concern needs to hit the ground running and never slow down. The pressure needs to be constant. No one should sit in the comfort of their own home and be shot right through the wall. Frankly, I am tired of hearing the words we all hear. We know that we can talk the talk and now its time we walk the walk. Lets get our district back. This can change, it must change, and it will change, and I want to be a big part in making that happen I want to make living in the 74th district a place we can be proud of.

As I have gotten older I have noticed a decline in our neighborhoods. As a young man starting a family I felt it was my duty to actively contact my representatives and express my views so they would represent me the way I wished to be represented. All too often I felt my views have fallen on deaf ears.
