Reason for Seeking Public Office:
Many have asked why I am running for office.
My wife, Nichole, and our daughters, Hannah and Haleigh, are reasons why I'm running. They were the reasons I became a firefighter and the reasons why I went back to school for my Master's Degree. My family, just like yours, is impacted by legislation in Utah and I'd like to ensure they have a bright future.
And importantly, I'm running to serve my community. As a Firefighter and a Paramedic, I work every day to keep our community safe. Serving others is rewarding and important to me and I want to continue with your support.
If elected, we're going take a common-sense approach to Utah laws - policies for public safety, education, and health care. Those are the issues that matter, and they matter to me.
I am a Utah Democrat and life-long Utah resident. I know what it takes to win this election and pass effective, common-sense legislation. We're going to run an energetic campaign based on real ideas, community outreach and Utah values.
It's a huge undertaking for us. With your support, I know we can achieve great things.
