People have asked me why I am running for the State Senate in District 14 where I live. The reason I am running is to make the lives of the people in District 14 better. I am not running against my primary opponent to run against him. I am running because I believe that with my background, knowledge and experience and with my energy and commitment, I will be able to do a better job in legislating for and protecting Democratic policies and principles.
