Reason for Seeking Public Office:
James is running for Lieutenant Governor to continue to be a voice for Massachusetts residents, to help ease the burdens and struggles of everyday families, and to grow a healthy Commonwealth in which a fair economy, a clean environment, a great education, and smart growth are all possible. James is uniquely qualified to become Lieutenant Governor with considerable experience partnering and coordinating with local, state, and federal governments, with experience running a $12 billion agency, and with experience dealing with complex policy and advocacy. James has the leadership skills, management background, and passion for public service that will make him an effective and tireless Lieutenant Governor.
