Reason for Seeking Public Office:

My name is Rafael Estrada and I am running to represent the 40th District in the California State Senate. I want to bring the "Golden" back to the Golden State.

As a member of the working class, I will continue to fight for working families and and for a strong middle class. I am committed to preserve and protect services for children and seniors such as Medicare, Medical, Social Security and affordable healthcare. I also commit to creating safe and thriving communities by ensuring quality first responders, keeping teachers in the classrooms and support staff on school sites.

I will fight to make California a business friendly state, increase capital for small businesses, attract corporations to create quality good paying jobs, empower the people and provide education and training opportunities for ALL.

I am proud to be a resident of the South Bay and it would be an honor to serve and represent you in the State Senate.
