Reason for Seeking Public Office:

As a husband, a father of four, and a grandfather of two, I am concerned with the direction that our country is taking.

I want the best for them, so it's time to end the wasteful spending, the push for more taxes, and bad policy that has plagued the state legislature.

I'm not running today because I need the job or want the "acclaim". I'm running because like most folks I know, I believe we need more citizen-statesmen.

We need fewer career politicians who just "go along to get along", and instead more strong men and women who will vote the same way as they talk on the campaign trail.
