Reason for Seeking Public Office:

"I am running for State Representative in order to make a positive difference for my neighbors. I will work to the best of my abilities to rejuvenate the office of State Representative with visible, energetic, and attentive year-round constituent services.

All around Delaware, grassroots candidates are running for office, competing and winning. I will use my experience as a civic association president and teacher to ensure that our neighborhoods and schools work best for our families and children. I am deeply concerned about the incumbent's relentless push for casino expansion. Instead of casino expansion, my legislative priority will be to add the voices of students and teachers to the conversations around school reform.

I look forward to the upcoming months and hope that my candidacy benefits the residents of the 10th District."
