Reason for Seeking Public Office:
I have watched with dismay as our state legislators bicker and fight over who is right rather than work together to find solutions. One side says "we must raise taxes," while the other side says "we must cut services." In business, when revenue is down, we don't raise prices or lower quality. To stay afloat we lower prices and improve quality. We make up the difference by finding new, more efficient ways to do more, better, faster with less. Our state can do the same thing if we elect people who know how to do it. As a business person, I think I can help find solutions to our current problems.
