Reason for Seeking Public Office:
As a direct provider of government services, I see firsthand the needs of the communities we serve, and I also see the demands placed on direct providers of public services with a lack of adequate resources. Too many politicians write off government services as inefficient without examining the lack of adequate investment toward meeting the needs of the community. The media call attention to government waste without also calling attention to government workers who work off the clock to to get the work done that is placed before them.
