Priority Issues:
-Eliminate wasteful spending as well as the outrageous budget deficit. We must restore fiscal responsibility by being good stewards of public funds.
-Cut taxes. California's taxpayers are already paying some of the highest taxes in the nation. To stimulate our economy, we must create a friendly environment for investment, eliminate useless regulations, and support California's entrepreneurial spirit, which has long fueled economic growth for the nation.
-Fix our schools! It is unacceptable to have students hopelessly trapped in failing schools. I propose to empower parents with a "school choice" system that lets them decide which school best meets their child's needs. This creates competition and innovation among schools, which in turn elevates academic standards. Plus, a school-choice system will save our state billions of dollars.
-Fight corruption. Demand transparency and accountability. Californians have the right to know how, when, and where their money is spent.
