Current Car:
A 90,000 mile, 1991 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Sedan I paid $200 for when the car became disabled- thanks to a bad computer chip in the steering column- forcing the seller to basically walked away from it. I got it running and the key stays in the column for all time. It's waiting to be stolen.

Favorite Movie:
On the Waterfront
Favorite Musician:
More like favorite singer? Frank Sinatra, who I've tried to honor by using 19 three words or less Sinatra songs as my slogans, one for each different county in New Jersey (plus Rock the Boat in my home county Atlantic, and one more, Give"m Heck Gary as a play on the old Harry Truman one, Give Them Hell Harry )
Favorite President and Why:
Ronald Reagan. He was one of us, he "was mad as hell and not going to take it anymore." You don't believe me? Ask the Air Traffic Controller's Union who their favorite president was.
Favorite Quote:
"Government isn't the solution, Government is the problem" Ronald Reagan
"except when it comes to health care" Gary Stein
"The answer is there is no answer" Not appropriate here? Read any of the great books about Robert Kennedy, he loved poetry and the existential stuff- and there's lots of great quotes he was fond of. I'll pass on this one or stick to my original answer, which is to say.....
Favorite Sport:
Football
Favorite TV Shows:
The Sopranos and the Rockford Files, neither one of which are on anymore.
Favorite Type of Music:
All. I even know who the "Wu-Tang Clan" is
Favorite Websites:
YouTube
Hobbies or Special Talents:
I've sacrificed all my hobbies in order to hone my special talent as the ultimate wheel spinning political candidate.
Name one thing you would most like to do before you die:
Bring Mexico to its knees so as to save it, so it's people can prosper and not need to escape here where they'd really rather not be. Can I do it?
Person Most Want to Meet (Dead or Alive):
Enough of this! Let's get to the real action, my responses to the "Political Courage Test."
Personal Hero and Why:
My friend Beto, back home in Mexico now- and stuck there- after 6 years in the United States illegally. The most unselfish person I've ever met.
Pets (include names):
All cats. Jeckel aka (the big moose), Tommy aka (the sheriff), Rocky aka, (rocket and scaredy cat), Angel, and Wolfie aka (wolf meister, wolf kuchen, mothers little flea bite, kitty legs, koo koo all terms of endearment favored by my wife, the Lieutenant Governor nominee, and one more endearment of the spoiled cat by me "rags"
Priority Issues:
Please don't forget to study my answers in the Political Courage Test which follows. I mention my priority issues in there, why ruin a good thing here.
Reason for Seeking Public Office:
To catch the attention of the NY Times and point out an obviously good story; me, my friend (back in Mexico), the mismanagement of relations between aforementioned crooked Mexico, the United States and Canada; all subjects which the Times mysteriously doesn't think I'm qualified to show them.....unless of course they haven't seen, or opened a few hundred e-mails I've sent to the publisher and president on down. My e-mail address as of early October has been "forsaken@steinforgovernor," which might look more professional then the old "hot mail," steingovernor2009@hotmail.com
