Priority Issues:

Water Shortage and the Population Explosion

Colorado's population and America's population, will double in the next 45 years. Our infrastructure won't handle growth that quick, not to mention the strain on our natural resources. Colorado has a limited water supply. Even low-flush toilets won't solve this problem Shall we have No Flush/No Shower Days? That will not solve the problem.

The population explosion is being driven by the illegal alien flood. Colorado taxpayers are yearly paying $1-$3 B in illegal immigration costs!!! We pay $500 M- $900 M just in education costs for educating illegal aliens and the children of illegal aliens. Who has that kind of money?

You don't have to wonder why we have the need for more money for education, health care, etc.

Energy

AMERICA CAN and MUST be ENERGY INDEPENDENT! In this energy crisis, Colorado can help to greatly alleviate the problem. We must use our abundant fossil fuels while developing alternate forms of energy. America has the LARGEST SUPPLY of COAL IN THE WORLD! We can clean-burn coal now. Our Roan Plateau has enough natural gas to power 1.9 B homes for 34 years. We have 800 B barrels of shale oil on the Western Slope.
America has more oil than the Arab emirates combined! LET'S USE THIS!

We are the 3rd or 4th state with the most sunshine and have abundant wind energy. We need to work on how to store this intermittent supply of energy.

Education

We have literally thousands of families on waiting lists hoping to get their children into charter schools. We need School Choice, Vouchers, and Merit Pay for deserving teachers.

In this difficult economic time where we're heading for a serious recession, this is NOT the time to raise taxes! Yet, my opponent wants to do just that!

I want to do my best to make life better for my children, my grandchildren, and the wonderful people of HD23! I've personally met more than 4,000 of our HD 23 voters.
