Priority Issues:
Family Issues: a living wage to allow for all Wyoming's working families to have security and time to raise a family. Gender wage equity that allows working women a fair shot at economic fairness. Affordable access to quality licensed child care for Wyoming's working families. Affordable access to quality health care for all Wyoming citizens. Affordable housing for all Wyoming families; Pre-K-Higher Education: providing funding at a level that insures all Wyoming's students a quality education; Infrastructure: state roads and highways must be upgraded, repaired and maintained. Providing Wyoming communities with accurate water and sewer systems is vital. Wyoming counties and communities need resources and funding necessary to manage the energy boom and influx of workers and families; Wyoming's Wildlife and Lands; it is our fiduciary and moral obligation to maintain our quality of life for our children, grandchildren, and the generations to come. While protecting our lands we must also maintain a balance for continuing the growth of economic opportunities for Wyoming citizens.
Reason for Seeking Public Office:
It has always been a goal of mine to serve the citizens of Wyoming in the state legislature. Being retired it is now the time to dedicate time to doing just that. I am an advocate for the residents of HD 12, Laramie County, and the State of Wyoming. Because I truly care for the families and the state, I believe I will be an asset to the issues that face the residents, cities/towns and counties of the State.
