Vote to pass a bill that authorizes $1 hunting and fishing licenses for law enforcement personnel in Pennsylvania.

Highlights:

• Requires the commission or a county treasurer to issue one annual resident fishing license at a cost of $1 to any applicant who provides documentation that they are a law enforcement officer (Sec. 1).

• Requires the commission, a county treasurer, or an issuing agent to issue a law enforcement hunting license at a cost of $1 to any eligible applicant who provides documentation that they are a law enforcement officer (Sec. 2-3).

• Specifies that a law enforcement agency, for the purposes of this Act, includes any of the following (Sec. 1-2):

• A public agency with general police powers;

• A campus police or university police department;

• A railroad or street railway police department;

• An airport authority police department; or

• A county park police force.

• Specifies that this Act takes effect 60 days after passage (Sec. 4).
