Title: Authorizes State Grant Funding for Out Of State Pro-Life Organizations
Vote to pass a bill that authorizes the use of Oklahoma grate funding for out-of-state pro-life organizations.
Amends the Choosing Childbirth Act to allow grants to private organizations that are located outside of Oklahoma (Sec. 1).
Specifies that the bill supports organizations that provide (Sec. 1):
Medical attention for a pregnant woman for the duration of her pregnancy including, but not limited to, obstetric ultrasounds;
Mental health and substance abuse services;
Nutritional support services;
Housing assistance;
Transportation assistance;
Adoption services;
Education and employment assistance;
Parenting education and support services;
Information and services to encourage women to carry their children to term; and
Health care services to mother and infants for up to three years postpartum.
Prohibits funds from being used to support organizations that provide abortion services (Sec. 1).
Requires each organization be registered as a not-for-profit corporation, provide information about unborn children, and assure that the grant’s sole purpose is to encourage women to carry their children to term (Sec. 1).
Specifies that this Act is effective November 1, 2026 (Sec. 7).
