Title: Federal Fraud Prevention Workforce Training Act

    • Identifying fraud and improper payment risks in federal programs;

    • Using government-wide antifraud data sharing and other payee validation programs; and

    • Reporting mechanisms for suspected fraud, waste, and abuse.

  • Requires the Treasury and OMB to provide Congress with a report on program implementation no later than two years after the date of the bill’s enactment (Sec. 2).

  • Authorizes the Treasury to prescribe any regulations necessary to implement and administer the training program (Sec. 2).

NOTE: THIS VOTE WAS TAKEN UNDER A SUSPENSION OF THE RULES TO CUT OFF DEBATE EARLY AND VOTE TO PASS THE BILL, THEREBY REQUIRING A TWO-THIRDS MAJORITY FOR PASSAGE.
