Vote to pass a bill that amends the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act in Illinois.

Highlights:

• Requires the Department of Children and Family Services to consider if there is reasonable cause to suspect that the alleged maltreatment of a child is the result of blatant disregard on the part of a person or agency who is an eligible perpetrator (Sec. 3). 

• Requires the Department of Children and Family Services to accept a report alleging abuse or neglect identifying the person or agency as the alleged perpetrator (Sec. 3).
