Title: Prohibits Individuals From Alerting Others to Law Enforcement Activity
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits individuals from alerting other individuals of law enforcement activity in order to avoid arrest in Arizona.
Defines unlawful alerting of another person to avoid arrest as knowingly alerting or communicating with an individual about an active effort to arrest that person by law enforcement (Sec. 1).
Specifies communication includes any of the following (Sec. 1):
An electronic communication;
A gesture;
A verbal statement;
A signal or amplified sounds, bells, whistles or similar devices used as intentional signaling;
A written message; or
Any other method of conveying information not listed above.
