Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the interruption of a worship service in Alabama.

Highlights:

• Specifies that an individual knowingly commits a crime of disruption of a worship service if they do any of the following (Sec. 1): 

• Engages in a riot; 

• Engages in disorderly conduct; 

• Engages in civic harassment of any individual in a place of worship; or

• Obstructs the entry and exit points of the place of worship. 

• Classifies a violation of this section a Class C felony (Sec. 1). 

• Authorizes the bill to become effective on October 1, 2026 (Sec. 2).
