Title: Prohibits Interruptions of a Worship Service
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the interruption of a worship service in Alabama.
Specifies that an individual knowingly commits a crime of disruption of a worship service if they do any of the following (Sec. 1):
Engages in a riot;
Engages in disorderly conduct;
Engages in civic harassment of any individual in a place of worship; or
Obstructs the entry and exit points of the place of worship.
Classifies a violation of this section a Class C felony (Sec. 1).
Authorizes the bill to become effective on October 1, 2026 (Sec. 2).
