Vote to pass a bill that increases flexibility for state agencies that oversee Kentucky's childcare industry.

Highlights:

• Requires the Cabinet for Health and Family Services to consider the following before issuing a plan of correction, suspension or revocation of license to a child care center (Sec. 1):

• If the center self-reported the incident or has a history of self-reporting;

• If the incident was a result of the center failing in policy, training, enforcement, or supervision; and

• If the center appropriately responded to the violation by holding the party responsible for the violation.

• Specifies that this Act is effective upon passage (Sec. 3).
