Title: Prohibits Local Governments in Idaho From Enacting Anti-Discrimination Policies
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits local governments from enacting anti-discrimination policies in Idaho.
Prohibits local governments from enforcing any antidiscrimination policies that expand on state law (Sec. 1).
Authorizes the attorney general to seek injunctive relief against any local government that violates the state's antidiscrimination policies (Sec. 1)
Authorizes anyone involved in business or who owns property within the limits of a local governmental entity to bring civil action if the local government fails to follow the state’s antidiscrimination policies (Sec.1).
Specifies that this act is effective July 1st, 2026 (Sec. 3).
