  • Establishes a civil penalty for governmental entities that violate this section of $25,000 for a first violation, and $125,000 for each subsequent violation, where each day constitutes a separate violation (Sec. 1).

  • Specifies that it is a violation of this section for an individual to enter a multiple-occupancy private space designated for use by the opposite sex, and establishes the following penalties (Sec. 1):

    • A written notice upon first violation;

    • A civil penalty of $1,000 for a second violation; and

    • A class B misdemeanor for a third or subsequent violation.
